Dear Sister and Brother Adams,
Thank you for sending us such a great son. He is doing a marvelous work as my assistant and is a tremendous missionary. In fact, if you will permit, I’d like to have him serve with us a couple of weeks longer than his originally scheduled release date.
If it is not too inconvenient for you, we’d like to keep him here until Saturday, the 11th of June, on which day he’ll fly home in time for a late supper. Please let me know if this meets with your approval.
That the Lord will continue to bless you for your goodness and your sacrifice to support your faithful missionary son is my prayer as I remain
