Hey all we are emailing earlier today so i will try adn get on again later to hear from you. the reason being is that the temple is closed for the next two weeks for cleaning. ha ha it is so crazy the time is flying by in here we are almost the oldest group of missionaries in our zone now. Dev i feel bad that you didnt get to spend more time in here. The spiritual experiences are just so amazing. i love it! Ok so did i tell you. Me and elder cannon (my comp.) were told last week that we would get the opportunity to be ushers for the new mission president seminar sacrament that they are having on sunday. we thought that was pretty cool cuz obvoiously there are going to be severaly apostles and more than like the the prophet in attendance. however we were told this week in district leader meeting ( oh yeah Elder cannon is our new district leader adn i am the new senior comp) but we were told as well along with being ushers is that we get to pass the sacrament during the meeting!!!!! Pass the sacrament to the apostles and mission presidents!!!! that is so out of this world!!!! We are going to help the Prophet renew his covenants. Wow!!! OUr district because of my urging are now in the choir that sings during devotionals. Way cool i love singing. my comp sings bass i sing tenor so we had to compromise adn we sit in the middle and sing the baritone part. so cool. well i will talk to you later as me any questions that you want answered and i will reply to them Love you all bunches!!! mom i hope you are feeling better. I prayed for you hard in my german prayers when i heard you had to go to the doctor. please be safe and know that i love you all very very much!!!!!!!!
hey dev! wie geht es ihnen? It sounds like it is going pretty good though with your new comp. the life here at the mtc is awesome im exctited for this weekend there are several general authorities here and i have heard a couple members of the presidency here as well for the new mission presidents training week. I get to usher for it. i think i told you about that. yeah i get to pass the sacrament to the apostles. but anyhow life is going great!!!! i watched the testaments on sunday (the one about the americas and christ coming) and i have no idea why but the spirit touched me so strongly. i was crying as jesus came up to the man and healed his blindness. I truly felt the spirit as if it were not just a spirit but rather a real tangible being. I cried the whole night thinking that any body could kill their savior their reedemer and yet he still showed the utmost love adn compassion. Ich wiess dass Jesus Christus mein erreter und erloser ist. Ich weiss dass er fur unsere sunde littet und gestorbet hat. that probably wont make any sense cuz we dont have umlaut keys but i said that i know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer. i know that he suffered and died for our sins. I can say a lot more in german but it is hard to type i might buy a recorder here and record me saying some stuff and send it to you guys. i love this work!! I cant wait to head to germany. i know that the lord is preparing people there for me now. i talked to a lady while doing laundry and she gave me a refferal of her cousin that wants to investigate the church. Exciting day. So i weigh 151 lbs and that is solid muscle. me and my mitarbeiter (comp) work out every night doing crazy eight pushups and other stuff plus i run and work out with elder sonderegger (the army ranger elder) the food is really starting to get old here i poop like three or four times a day and i am so irregular ha ha. Dev my tummy is angry. ha ha so pretty much i bought a scripture case for my new scriptures and for my german ones as well. The saying on my shirt means Germany i love you. mom i really hope you get better. i will pray for you. 3 nephi 11 in german is awesome i read it and it gives it a whole new meaning. i have memorized d and c 4 in german and the first vision. i love it here and i love you all so much hope you are all doing well and may the lord bless you. ich sage im name Jesu Christi Amen.

wow dev, that is a crazy story that is so intense. I hope you get feeling better. it is a craz world out there i cant wait till i get to the outside world. Sometimes i forget im in provo. I inherited an awesome gel butt pad from one of the older elders who left to germany a week ago. it is so awesome it make sitting in a hard chair in a hot small sweaty classroom for 12 hours a day much more bearable. ha ha we are gettingh better at teaching me and my comp. it is so good. i love it. i have a few questions for you family. Can you get me zac and mitchells addresses and probably even coreys. that would be great i need to write my friends some good interesting stories that will get them interested for their missions and if you could you should just forward the email to them as well. second of all how are yall doing. I am doing so great. the german is beginning to come along quite a bit better. it is still way hard. i dont get a lot of time to write on the computer today so talk to chelsea about the blessing story and my companion. I am not feeling sick anymore. im actually doing really good. Mom I love you so much im so glad that you are spending time with chels that is so cool that you two watched a movie together. So quess what? i bought a german shirt today that has the german flag on it and it says Deutschland, Ich Liebe dich. I really was in need cuz i only have that one red pday shirt that i have worn all the time and all the white ones are for working out which is going well i am now sporting a six pack. i have been working out with Elder Sonderegger he is from santaquin and he wants to be part of the army rangers which are like the black ops guys. ha ha his workouts are pretty intense. So since entering the mtc i am now 14 lbs heavier i think. all muscle of course i look so ripped. me and my companions and roomies have a picture of ammon up in our room cuz his is physically ripped and spiritually ripped too. Which is why we want to grow up to be just like him. and from a few letters ago dont worrry about buying me ties i learned from my german teacher ( who has the most amazing ties) that i can get awesome ones from germany for like 3 euros. which is awesome. I am dreaming in german now. just happened last night. and my comp says i speak a lot of german in my sleep. I sing in the Mtc choir with my comp. i stayed with him and he is a baritone/bass. I could probably pull off the baritone but im more of a tenor. ha ha so it was good and we got on the big screen during the devotional. that was cool i didnt notice cuz i was singing but everyone in our zone was like you guys are famous. well i gotta go it is about time. I have more time to write letters than to type so i wrote you a letter dad. mom can i also have the addresses of the people who are donating to my mission so i can write them a personal letter and thank them that means so much. I love you mom so so so sos so so much you mean the world to me. Spencer have fun at EFY. Love yall bunches!!!!!!

ya the mtc is awesome we committed two of our fake progressing investigators to baptism. they accepted and we have a date. this is so cool. but yes this week has been a humbling one. Oh first off we got to hear from David A. Bednar on the teusday night devotional. That was so spiritually awseome! Did you know he went to the exact same mission that i am going to? Ya! totally awesome. Anyhow as for the humbling week. We have been learning some crazy hard german grammar principles. Like dative case and adjective endings. It seems like it is all floating over my head, While everybody else is getting it. I got frustrated a lot this week. Last week ya know how i was telling you i was starting to feel sick and achy? well ya that all went to crap that night. I began to feel worse and worse as the night hours went by. I then tried to get some sleep that night cuz i was dead tired but i could not for the life of me get any sleep. I tossed and turned fell asleep for like five minutes then woke up drenched in sweat then i would toss adn turn and fall asleep for like ten minutes and then wake up freezing cold. i rolled out of bed friday morning tired as all else and achy and sore. so i checked my temp adn i was at 101.4 degrees. I think that is a little high. But the doctors office didnt open till eight that morning so i layed in bed for the time being. then i went and got a flu test at the doctors office still running a fever of 99.6. No flu but i felt like death. so i got to stay in my room all day and study with my scriptures and my preach my gospel as my companion. they quarantined me and transferrred me to be companions with the four other sick elders in my zone. Who by the way ended up getting the swine flu and having to miss their flight plans to switzerland. so sad. But mom thank you so much for that package. It was much needed. I have been coughing up mucous crap for the past week from whatever i had. that medicine felt good. but now im doing better. As for redemption for the dead you should read alma chapter five. Its a good one for that. the pillow case to my body pillow is in my orange big granite gear pack in my closet. the digital picture frame from my work is with zac. i gave it to him cuz i couldnt get it to work so he is now the owner of it. yes i have gotten the opportunity to go to the temple. we go every thursday morning. It is so awesome the provo temple is pretty cool but i like the Salt lake temple the best. That is cool that i made the deans list i suppose. And yes my little brother spencer i am way good at german now. ha ha jk i need to be humble. But i am getting better. I know how to bear my testimony carry on conversations and preach some simple truths about the first lesson. Devin, i dont get to play basket ball during gym time. however a week or two ago everyone from the deutscher zone plays fussball. We owned all the spandies and Mandies (spanish speakers and mandarin speakers) i was the goalie and i kicked butt. but now they wont let us play any sports so me and my companion lift weights. I have gained thirteen pounds in the mtc. ha ha i thought i wasnt going to gain weight. but its all good mom. dont worry my pants still fit. Its all wieght gained in the chest. my shirts fit tighter across my chest now. ha ha me adn my companion have crazy eight competitions with pushups at night and last night we did 150 pushups in ten minutes. i can bench the entire stack on the bench machine ten times it says it is 250 lbs but i doubt it. well im almost out of time. Mom i love you ever so much. Im grateful to get letters each day. Spenc, keep kicking butt at soccer my homey. Dad you are the bomb! I hope scouts is going well. Love yall bye!!!!!

Hello everybody,
i am just going to make a carbon copy of all that i have to say to send to all of yall cuz as i was typing the return letter to devin i was almost finished and then the whole message got erased. I only have about 20 more minutes to write. so everything has been going great thank you all for the letters it has been such a blessing. ha ha my companion and all my roommates all get like two letters a day and i am now getting more than them. the time has been flying by. i cant believe how much i have learned. i can pretty much carry on a decent conversation now in german. i think it is pretty cool. i have learned like three months of information the outside world could teach me in like two weeks mtc time which seems like two days. and yes the swine flu is here at the mtc. they are withholding all the elders departure dates starting the first till the 15 of june. that made a lot of elders sad and angry. however the more sad thing is that the mothers who were dropping off their new missionaries could only say goodbye to them at the curb. kinda sad so i feel lucky. however i have now got a sickness of somesort. i started feeling it yesterday and so i went and got it checked out. by the way mom i need chelcs blanket that she made me i definately have room for it and the ac in our dorm is on nonstop freezing cuz its broken or something. anyhow i went and got it checked out and apparently it is not the swine flu but an upper respiratory tract viral infection of some sort that is going around. the nurse says she has seen quite a few cases of it. so i pretty much have the worst headache of my life and my whole body aches and my throat is full of mucus. funn stuff, not really. anyhow. me and my companion have been teaching pretend investigators in the mtc. three of them to be excact. they are all progressing well we have taught very well i can always feel the spirit so stron when my companion and i bare testimony of the restoration or the atonement. i can see it touch the investigators hearts. we committed a dave character to baptism but he told us no, only cuz it was the second lesson. but he has committed to repent of his sins read 3 ne 11 and pray about the book of mormon and the prophet joseph smith i think we will have a pretend baptism soon. We start teaching the first lesson in german in about a week. so that ought to be good. The mtc is the best. I love it here but i cant wait to go to germany. My teacher, Bruder Frandsen, is so awesome. he served in munich and he is just absolutely the best teacher ever. he taught me a new way to tie my ties that all the germans do. (all the stripes have to be lined up) then you look classy and all the germans will think higher of you. Oh by the way if you ever send me any ties i would prefer bright colors with stripes (germans approve). Tell chelsea thank you so so very much for the cookies. they are so good and all the people in my zone got a really good laugh outta them. that is great that you are selling my car i hope you can find out what is wrong with it. Spencer good job on the A team bro. Crush some skulls brotha! Elder Adams Im so excited we are doing this work together isn't it just the best! I love it. Mom i love you with all my heart thanks for writing it made my day. Dad you are so awesome. Thank you for all that you do. taking care of my car and being the best example to me as i grow up. I love you all and now im crying so i cant see the keys im typing love you gotta go.
